Last week we got our latest hotfix update for Dark and Darker, Dark and Darker Hotfix #68 which brings quite a few head-turning changes to the game. In anticipation of a larger overhaul to the game’s item paradigm shift in the next few weeks or so, Dark and Darker Hotfix #68 sets a base for the new itemization that’ll hit the game soon.
So today, we’re breaking down the latest Dark and Darker Hotfix #68 to see what’s new, what you need to know, and how the changes will affect players until the next Dark and Darker hotfix.
That said, if you’re in the market for Dark and Darker gold for sale, check out U7BUY to help ease the grind!
The Most Important Changes in Hotfix #68
Dungeons Item Drop Rates Increased
Probably the most important update with the latest Dark and Darker patch is that ‘item drop rates in dungeons have increased’. This applies to a variety of instances and provides players further incentive to venture deeper into the lower Dark and Darker dungeon levels to get better, and more frequent item drops.
This also affects High Roller dungeons which now makes it a much better proposition to engage with since you’ll get significantly more Dark and Darker rewards for your time and arduous journey.
Additionally, the new drop rate increase also means you’ll notice monster and chest drop rates more frequently. High Roller Dark and Darker bosses and special rooms, now have separate Artifact drop rates. This should make the grind easier since you can target specific Dark and Darker items you’re looking for.
Final Season Quest Added & Expressman Reworks
Another big addition with the latest Dark and Darker hotfix is now the last batch of this season’s quests has now been added to the game. Plus, we now have reworks and QoL improvements to the notorious ‘Expressman’ which has been a topic of contention in the community for a while now.
The latest Dark and Darker patch addresses some of the major issues with the Expressman and has highlighted that there’s ‘improved usability of Dark and Darker Dungeon Express’.
For example, the update fixed issues where some Dark and Darker items were not available in Dungeon Express but somehow ended up in Expressman’s inventory and you couldn’t use your stash’s Dark and Darker gold for the Dungeon Express fee.
Normal Monsters Magic Damage Resistance Lowered
One of the most widely beloved changes with the new hotfix Dark and Darker update has to be the change to how normal monsters receive Magic Damage. Specifically, ‘Magic Damage to normal monsters change to -25%’.
This means that now, normal monsters have a -25% debuff to any and all magic damage which can significantly impact caster builds like Warlocks, Wizards, Clerics, and other mage Dark and Darker classes and spells.
With this latest change, makes caster builds incredibly more powerful than they already are. We expect this change will make it easier to clear mobs and make Wizard and Warlock classes in particular incredibly powerful and worth creating a new Dark and Darker character just to try out the changes.
Besides the aforementioned updates, we also have a variety of bug fixes for stability and some known issues. Overall, we’d say the latest Dark and Darker Hotfix #68 is a great update as we prepare for a bigger Dark and Darker update to items coming soon.
That said while Dark and Darker is indeed a beast to be tamed, there are plenty of other games like Elden Ring to dive into. So if you’re looking for cheap Elden Ring runes or any other in-game items for RPG games, U7BUY has got you covered!
